Introducing the newest member of our family
Trixie Belle
She's a sweet little girl...I'm already smitten:)

Oh the imagination of Little Boys.....

These two spent the afternoon making "boats" in the mud...

Complete with passengers on them!

I smiled to myself....thankful for the simple things

Sunday Worship Time

They are getting so big!

Saddens me as a mother....

I want them to stay little forever!:)

Maggie May is a little dumplin....
always FULL of life and very Busy!
We love her to pieces!

Nate is growing into a little man now....
Just the other day I took them to eat and
Britt wasn't with us...
Nate said, "Mom, we need to say the blessing...
Bow your heads and I'll do it."
He took his hat off, layed it across his heart,
and prayed the most beautiful prayer of thankfulness.
As tears welled up in my eyes,
I thanked God too,
for my little blessings.....
They never cease to amaze me....

Others are Always Watching.....

God's Word says,
"We try to live in such a way that no one
will be hindered from finding the
Lord by the way we act,
and so no one can fault with our ministry.
In everything we do we try to show that
we are true ministers of God." 2 Corin 6:3-4

Regardless of what you believe is sin....

Others are always watching.....

Friends, Family, your Children,
Co Workers, Lost People.....

Don't let them find fault with your ministry and

be hindered from finding Jesus, through you,

because of the sin they see in your life!

As Christians, we need to be a light

for Jesus in this dark world....

not cause more confusion.

New School Year

Just finished ordering our materials for the School year! I know, I'm a little late:) But, we won't start until September around here.

We've decided on Horizons Reading and Language Arts as well as Spelling and Penmanship. And I've ordered Saxon Math for this year. Last year we did Singapore Math. I liked it somewhat, but Nate seemed to be really bored because it wasn't moving fast enough for him. So, we're going to try something different this year. That's the beauty in homeschooling... you can experiment and find what's best for your child's needs and adapt to their way of learning! Also, you're in control of what goes in and what comes out! (You know...Junk in...Junk out!)

Looking forward to a new school year! I feel better prepared and much more motivated this year. I'm also excited to see what God is going to teach us both as we embark on this new adventure!

Good luck to all my Homeschooling Peeps! May God be with you!:)

"Train a child in the way he should go,
and when he is old he will not turn from it."
Proverbs 22:6

O Lord, you alone are my hope.
I've trusted you, O Lord, from childhood,
Yes, you have been with me from birth;
from my mother's womb you have cared for me.
No wonder I am always praising you!
My life is an example to many,
because you have been my strength and protection.
That is why I can never stop praising you;
I declare your glory all day long.
Psalm 71:5-8
This is my prayer for my children.
That they will never stop praising Him.

Restore me oh Lord!

I took you from the ends of the earth,
from its farthest corners I called you.
I said, 'You are my servant';
I have chosen you and have
not rejected you.
10 So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my
righteous right hand
This week has been a tough week...
Spiritually, Mentally, Emotionally, and Physically....
My prayer is for God to uphold me, heal me,
renew my strength, and restore me!
