Losing my Grandaddy (my parental grandaddy) , almost two years ago, was one of the hardest things I've ever had to go through.... There was never a day that you didn't find him working in his yard... and as a child, growing up right next door to my grandparents, I'll forever have the memory of seeing him out there embedded in my heart.
This spring, my family, along with my granny, have been picking up the pieces and working to get their yard back together and to a place that's easily manageable for her and the rest of us who are helping to care for it.
Being together, working beside my granny, has been such a special time for me. One thing I've learned as I've gotten older is to slow down, live one day at a time and I try not to let valuable moments like these slip away.....
My granny (aka Great-Granny).... bless her
Riding on the tractor with Grandaddy...
Time to rest and fellowship.... and be a little goofy too...GRAMMY!
Time with family.... forever treasured
