You are for Me

As a mother, a pastor's wife, a teacher, as a Christian woman.... my daily life is not always easy. I struggle. I struggle with life in general...keeping sin out of my life, trying to handle things on my own, raising my children in a Godly home, being a supportive and encouraging wife to a pastor/husband, staying grounded in His Word..... the list goes on. And I think we all struggle if truth be known, especially if we're trying to handle it all on our own.



Lastnight I was so fortunate enough to be able to attend a worship service like I have never experienced before. And one of the songs we sang pierced my heart and overwhelmed me with emotion because God was speaking to me at that very moment! There I stood humbled before the Lord, grieving in my heart because I knew that I was guilty. Guilty of trying to control it all. Trying to handle things in my own way instead of having faith in Him to see me through.



I think we tend to forget that God is God. He is powerful, loving, forgiving, merciful, faithful....He is Almighty God! There is nothing too big for Him, nothing that He can't handle. And, He is always....always here for us.
