This afternoon we decided to take a hike through the woods.

I treasure these times with them,

watching them explore and get excited over discovering new things.

we enjoyed picking berries and finding other interesting things.

But, because it was such a hot day,

Maggie didn't end up on a very happy note towards the end......

she'd had enough of the adventure!
